This indicator captures perceptions of the extent to which agents have confidence in and abide by the rules of society, and in particular the quality of contract enforcement, property rights, the police, and the courts, as well as the likelihood of crime and violence.

Legal cases processed in first instance courts by legal status of the court process (since 2022)

The indicator include the number of cases divided by status incoming (brought to court)/resolved/pending at the end of the year for the categories criminal (total) and other than criminal (non-criminal) (total). It's collected by the Commission for the efficiency of justice (CEPEJ) of the Council of Europe (CoE).
